——————-REVIEW TIME———————
I never do reviews on beauty stuff, but I want to more often. Today’s review is on a product that I personally LOVE. I’ve been hearing about all these “cleansing conditioners” like Wen, and how they’re supposed to be so much better for your hair. For those of you who don’t do a lot of hair stuff, regular shampoo has detergents in it which strip your hair of oil, but can also strip your hair of the natural oils it needs. Then you use conditioner to put moisture BACK into your hair. So, the companies that came up with cleansing conditioner preach the logic of having a product that cleans your hair without stripping it completely. Unfortunately, Wen is QUITE expensive and I’ve heard that their customer service is awful. So I saw this at Safeway for $5 and decided I’d try it! Now on to the review part: I’ve been using this for about 2 weeks now (and I only wash my hair every other day, if not every 2 days) and my hair has NEVER felt better. I LOVE this. My hair is naturally thick, curly, and a tad on the frizzy side… Plus, for those of my new followers, I was nearly platinum blonde for 3 years. My hair is still a little damaged. But seriously, my hair has never felt this soft and it gives it a nice shine! I use a little bit on my hair after it’s dry to help tone down some of my frizz as well.  I literally just use this one product on my hair to wash it. I don’t need a conditioner at all. And no, it doesn’t leave my hair greasy at all! However, on the bottle it says for all DRY hair types, so I’m not sure how people with oilier scalps would fare with this… But if you have dry, processed hair like me, this is your miracle product.
